To take Online RUSS 1002

The prerequisite for Russian 1002, is a familiarity with the following basics of the Russian Language:

1. The basic knowledge of Russian parts of speech, case system and tenses including Russian alphabet, basic rules of verb conjugation, declension of nouns, pronouns and modifiers (nominative and prepositional cases in singular and plural; accusative, genitive, and dative cases in singular).
2. The ability to induct and deduct.
3. Familiarity with basic survival topics at a very low level (meaning the ability to say a few words or a sentence about those topics)
   1. greetings,
   2. introducing yourself and your family,
   3. talking about your life/study,
   4. telling the time, day and date,
   5. making an appointment,
   6. telling/asking for directions, and
   7. visiting a friend.
